SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion is using social media to acknowledge its most dedicated employees.
The retailer asked its Facebook community to post comments about associates who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
“Give a shout out to the employee that goes out of their way to make your shopping experience a pleasant one” Food Lion wrote in a recent Facebook post. More than 100 people responded as of today.
Among the comments:
- Erin Jackson, Spencer, N.C., goes above and beyond. She is a dedicated employee!
- At store # 2217 in Charlotte, N.C., John Essel dairy clerk always full of cheer always singing and enjoying his faith and job.
- Ms Jane Stone is a deli clerk/ baker she is the most generous passionate lady n the deli. Kammie Orbison is easily the best employee I've ever met at Food Lion .
- Linda Hagans in Rocky Mount, N.C., is the best!! She shows excellent customer service every time I go in there!!! Way to go Linda, keep up the good work.
