PLEASANTON, Calif. — A real Safeway shopper is featured in YouTube videos promoting the chain’s Just for U digital savings program.
In one video, “Margaret” says she likes using Just for U so much that Safeway asked her to tell others about it. She goes on to give a tutorial on how to register for and use Just for U.
Just for U lets users build customizable shopping lists, view the Safeway weekly ad, and load personalized savings directly to their loyalty card.
“It’s kind of like getting an upgrade to your club card,” Margaret says. In another YouTube video, Margaret explains the benefits of using the Just for U online coupon center, which lets shoppers store manufacturer and store coupons in one place.
“This is my personal stash of digital coupons,” said Margaret. “So no more wasted time pouring over Sunday coupons, Just for U does it all for me.”
