BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Sam’s Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores here, yesterday began allowing shoppers to sign up for an exclusive email preview of more than 30 holiday items available the day after Thanksgiving by texting “GO” to sams1 (72671). Standard text rates apply. Web users are able to register for the email preview online at samsclub.com. “We understand the time pressures everyone faces, especially during the holidays, and we want to make the experience of shopping with us easy and fun,” said Greg Spragg, executive vice president of merchandising at Sam’s Club, in a statement. The day-after-Thanksgiving goods — including flat-screen TVs, electronics and jewelry — will be unveiled beginning Monday, Nov. 19 and throughout the week ending Friday, Nov. 23.
