Consumer Guide on Whole Grains Released

NEW YORK -- The Wheat Foods Council, in collaboration with the Whole Grains Council and the American Dietetic Association, announced the availability of a new fact sheet entitled "Whole Grains Made Easy." The two-page overview addresses nutrition, USDA dietary recommendations and serving size as they relate to whole grains.

The two-page overview addresses nutrition, USDA dietary recommendations and serving size as they relate to whole grains. Also included is a family-friendly guide to including whole grains in meals and snacks throughout the week. The consumer primer appears in the February issue of the Journal of the American Dietetic Association and on the ADA's Web site, www.eatright.org.
