MALVERN, Pa. — Sterilox Food Safety, an in-store food sanitizing system for produce, seafood and other fresh food products, has announced agreements with six supermarket retailers, including Stater Bros., San Bernardino, Calif.; Raley’s, West Sacramento, Calif.; and Big Y, Springfield, Mass. The system, which generates a sanitizing solution using salt, water and electricity, can be used to eliminate pathogens and mold on fruits, vegetables, seafood and their display cases, while extending the shelf life of those products, as well as fresh floral items.
