South Korea, U.S. to Discuss Beef Imports Next Week
SEOUL, South Korea -- South Korea and the United States are scheduled next week to hold “technical” talks here in an attempt to resolve problems related to U.S. beef imports, according to South Korean officials. South Korea has rejected all three shipments of U.S. beef since reopening the market last year after a three-year ban.
