Freshfields Eyes Jacksonville: Report

ORLANDO, Fla. — Freshfields Farm, a meat and produce market based here, will build a second location in Jacksonville, Fla., reports said this week.

Freshfields, which specializes in meat and produce and carries limited quantities of frozen food, has purchased a former furniture store in Jacksonville where it will construct a new outlet, the Florida Times-Union newspaper said.

Freshfields, according to its website, was founded in 1973 and was known as “Momm's Meats and Popp's Produce” before changing its name to Freshfields four years ago. It said it intends to become a destination for quality meat and produce in the Southeast.
