Jun 3, 2008 6:00 AM
BATAVIA, Ill. — Aldi here on Monday opened the doors to a store in East Syracuse, N.Y., that showcases the chain’s new marketing and environmental approaches, a report said yesterday. The store also showcases its economy — such as its no-bag policy — as an environmental feature, the report said. Aldi was not immediately available for further comment.
