Bashas' Emails Guide to Gluten-Free Thanksgiving

CHANDLER, Ariz. — Bashas' is making it easy for customers to cook a gluten-free traditional Thanksgiving dinner, even listing selected spreads and crackers and other appetizers that are gluten-free.
This week, Bashas' registered dietitian Barbara Ruhs sent an email to customers who previously had made inquiries about gluten-free items.
Recipes are included for everything from start to finish: Gluten-free pumpkin pie is the dessert. Attachments to her email, too, are extensive, even naming gluten-free bread and cake mixes. Her product guide even lists a couple of branded, canned mushroom soups that are gluten-free.
"Think green bean casserole," she said.
