CHANDLER, Ariz. — Bashas’ here yesterday said it has named Gregg Tucek vice president of legal affairs for human resources. He joins the company from Sherman & Howard, and practices exclusively in the area of traditional labor and employment. Bashas' said Tucek has a successful track record in arbitrating matters related to collective bargaining agreements and has been the lead counsel in unfair labor practice trials before the National Labor Relations Board. He will work closely with the company’s labor-relations team at Steptoe & Johnson. “Gregg has worked with our team as an outside consultant for some time,” said Edward N. Basha III, senior vice president of legal and financial affairs for the company. “We will greatly benefit from having Gregg’s expertise available to us full-time.”
