CHANDLER, Ariz. — Bashas’ is showing its support of the University of Arizona's football team with an “Ultimate Wildcats Football Fan” promotion. “Do you have the largest collection of Wildcat football memorabilia? Do your co-workers wonder if you wear anything other than red and blue?” Bashas’ website reads. Anyone can enter by submitting an essay of 200 words or less about why they are the ultimate fan. Submissions can be mailed or emailed to Bashas’. “Show us how passionate of a fan you are with a photo that demonstrates your Wildcat football pride,” Bashas’ says. The grand prize winner will receive tailgate space at Arizona Stadium; two season tickets to home games; a $500 Bashas’ gift card for tailgating supplies; and a Hillshire Farm tailgate grill. Three runners-up will get two tickets to one game; a $50 gift card; and a Hillshire grill. The promotion kicked off Aug. 1 and runs through Aug. 16.
