Big Y Publishes Magazine for National Dairy Month

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Big Y World Class Markets here has published “Dairy’s Best” magazine to coincide with National Dairy Month this June. The magazine, which will be given away free to shoppers, includes a wide range of recipes; articles on dairy nutrition, including a Q&A with Carrie Taylor, the company’s registered dietitian; a cheese guide; and a circular featuring monthly specials from throughout the store. “Eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day is an easy and great tasting way for families to meet their calcium needs and pack a powerful punch of nine essential nutrients needed for stronger bones and overall good health,” Donald D’Amour, chief executive officer of Big Y, said in a statement.
