Bi-Lo, Creditors Agree on Plan Extension

GREENVILLE, S.C. — A federal bankruptcy judge has approved a compromise between Bi-Lo and its creditors to extend the deadline by which the retailer can file an exclusive plan of reorganization. Bi-Lo, facing a July 21 deadline, now has until Sept. 21 to file a plan.
As previously reported, the retailer said it needed the additional time to complete an analysis and the formation of a long-term plan that would determine its path in emerging from Chapter 11.
