Bi-Lo Donation Honors Injured Police Dog

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Bi-Lo Holdings here said that it made a $1,000 donation to a K-9 training unit in honor of a police dog injured during a shoplifting apprehension at a local Bi-Lo store. Kroc, a three-year-old German Shepherd with the Greenville Sheriff’s Department, received a medal of valor after being injured while police apprehended a purse-snatcher at a local Bi-Lo. Kroc is currently off-duty and recovering from injuries, police said.
