Brindle to Head NGA Supplier Advisory Council

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association here said Friday it has appointed Rick Brindle, of Kraft Foods North America, as chairman of its Supplier Advisory Council. Brindle’s title at Kraft is customer vice president, eSales & industry relations. The NGA Supplier Advisory Council provides guidance and makes recommendations on the development of policy positions, programs and services for the association, which represents independent food retailers. According to Frank Dipasquale, NGA senior vice president, “[Brindle’s] broad expertise in consumer goods sales leadership, new business and emerging market development, building brand equity, eBusiness development and leveraging information technology for competitive advantage to the consumer goods and retail industries will be a valuable asset to the council and our organization.”
