LARCHMONT, N.Y. — D’Agostino Supermarkets here has agreed to offer its shoppers the option to use a Wi-Fi-enabled home ordering system from Ikan, Stamford, Conn. The system features a home scanning device that shoppers use to scan items before they are disposed of, thereby populating an online grocery list. The device also tells the consumer how to best recycle a used container. D’Agostino will demonstrate the system at its stores beginning Friday.
