Delhaize Acquires Greek Retailer

BRUSSELS — Delhaize Group here has entered into an agreement to acquire the Greek retailer Koryfi for around $10.3 million (U.S.).
The retailer said the acquisition would bolster its Alfa-Beta chain in northeastern Greece. Kofyi is a family-owned chain with 11 stores in that region. Alfa-Beta is the No. 2 food retailer in Greece.
