Florida Supermarket Owner Charged With Fraud

MIAMI — A supermarket owner who took $50,000 in public funds to renovate his store has been arrested and charged with fraud in relation to the award.
According to the Office of the Inspector General of Miami-Dade County, the retailer, Abdallah Masoud Mustafa passed forged insurance documents to the county while taking a $50,000 grant to renovate his store, M&M Supermarket in Homestead, Fla. The award was contingent upon proof of insurance.
