PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle is supporting its local football teams while helping the environment with new reusable shopping bags. The 13-by-12½-by-8½-inch bags are made from recyclable woven polypropylene. Costing $2.99 each, they are customized with the names and logos of one of three football teams that play in Giant Eagle’s operating areas: Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University. “Go Green, Go Team,” Giant Eagle says in promotional materials.
