Fresh & Easy: Not Planning New Loyalty Program Despite Report
Dec 8, 2009 6:00 AM, By JULIE GALLAGHER
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Contrary to a Financial Times report, Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market does not have a new loyalty program in the works, spokesman Roberto Munoz told SN.
The story was based on speculation about a job advertisement listed on freshandeasy.com, Munoz said. Listed amongst the job responsibilities was "2010 planning for a loyalty program," he said. The story's reporter "took that to mean a loyalty card program, but this refers to our existing friends of Fresh & Easy program."
“Friends of Fresh & Easy” is an opt-in email program through which special offers are distributed.
