GMA Names Marcoot Director of Supply Chain

WASHINGTON — The Grocery Manufacturers Association here has announced the appointment of Michelle Marcoot to the role of director of supply chain, and the promotion of Jeanne Iglesias to senior director of supply chain and technology. Marcoot formerly served as senior director of member services at the Corporate Executive Board, where she managed leadership groups on technology, innovation and supply chain issues. At GMA she will manage supply chain activities, including day-to-day activities of the logistics and direct-store-delivery committees, as well as the supply chain vanguard group. Iglesias will have primary responsibility for GMA’s supply chain and technology practice; she will also build a new information technology vanguard group that will help position GMA in front of the many technology issues driving changes in supply chain relationships, according to GMA.
