Hy-Vee Buying Pharmacy From Closed Nash Finch Store

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee is buying the pharmacy from an Econofoods store in Galesburg, Ill., from Nash Finch, Minneapolis. Two pharmacists have been hired and the pharmacy technicians are being interviewed for possible positions, reported the Galesburg Register-Mail. The newspaper noted that the pharmacists used to work for Hy-Vee. Hy-Vee has a total of three pharmacies in the area: two in supermarkets and another location in the Galesburg Clinic. Nash Finch is closing two stores in Galesburg and then will no longer have a presence in Illinois.
