ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans Food Markets here is using Internet coupons to promote its seven new refrigerated Asian bowls and three “chef-developed” soups. This week’s offer is for $1 off any of its Asian bowls, including Singapore Noodles with Shrimp; Gingered Beef and Broccoli; or Shanghai Stir-Fry Tofu with Sesame. The offer is valid through April 26. The three soups are Spicy Red Lentil Chili; Pasta Fagioli with Spinach; and Squash and Pear. The bowls and soups are part of Wegmans’ “Take it. Make it” campaign, in which recipes are highlighted in its Menu magazine and demoed in-store for consumers who wish to “make it” on their own, while the same dish is available in a ready-to-eat version for those who prefer to “take it.”
