CINCINNATI — Kroger here has teamed up with its wireless phone marketing partner, i-wireless LLC, to offer customers free minutes and text messages on i-wireless cell phones sold at Kroger stores.
Each month, customers who use their KrogerPlus card will get 20 minutes for every $100 spent, with a cap of $1,500 per month; customers who use Kroger's branded MasterCard will get 30 minutes for every $100.
According to a Cincinnati.com story, the program started in the Cincinnati area in May and will reach all of the company's stores, except for the Food 4 Less chain, by the end of this month. I-Wireless runs on Sprint's national network.
