Nash Finch Opens New Format

MINNEAPOLIS — Nash Finch Co. yesterday held grand opening ceremonies for its Family Fresh Market store in Hudson, Wis., which the company here has called its new everyday value format. The former Econofoods location was outfitted with larger fresh departments, expanded organics, signs calling attention to product health benefits, and a revamped Center Store with a new, easier to shop layout and lower everyday prices, Nash Finch said. Company officials said they have begun to change over another of its stores to the Family Fresh format but declined to specify the location.
