NEW Schedules First Southern California Event

LOS ANGELES — The Network of Executive Women has launched a new regional group here and plans its first local event March 11, which is scheduled to bring together executives from Albertsons, Safeway, General Mills and Con Agra.
Sue Klug, president of Albertsons’ Southern California division and a NEW member, said the group is “looking forward to developing long-standing partnerships with many companies in Southern California as they join us in our efforts to promote the advancement of women through dynamic programs of education, leadership and business development.”
Other NEW members in Southern California include Kay Garbizo, vice president, advertising and marketing, for Ralphs Grocery Co.; Caryn Olson, division vice president for Nestlé; Mickie Sharp Villanueva, vice president, warehouse, for Hansen Beverage Co.; and Caroline Nakken, president and chief executive officer of Mass Connections.
