Peapod to Offer Online Shoppers Personal Discounts

QUINCY, Mass. — Internet grocer Peapod, a division of Ahold USA here, announced this week that its shoppers will earn extra savings instantly on select purchases as the result of a partnership with Concept Shopping, Skokie, Ill. Concept Shopping’s Automatic Marketing program selects, delivers and awards personalized savings to Peapod customers based on their previous purchases. Shoppers will discover the extra savings as they prepare their orders. “Utilizing Concept Shopping’s unique ability to pre-select relevant, extra savings for shoppers is another example of how Peapod continues to use innovation to save its customers time and money,” said Andrew Parkinson, chief executive officer of Peapod, in a statement.
