Daymon Offers Private-Label Traceability System
Dec 2, 2008 6:00 AM
STAMFORD, Conn. — Private-label broker Daymon Worldwide here has partnered with San Francisco-based TraceTracker to deliver traceability services to the private-label consumer products industry.
The services — available in TraceTracker’s “Global Traceability Network” (GTNet), a Web-based platform — will enable retailers to demonstrate the source, quality, and safety of their private-label goods.
By subscribing to the service, private-label retailers and their manufacturers can exchange information and effectively create a “product passport” that traces every stage of production, processing and distribution from source to shelf, said Daymon Worldwide.
