LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix Super Markets here said it would send participants in an online sweepstakes coupons by mail after a technical glitch prevented participants from being able to print their own coupons at home.

Publix launched its Nutrition & Fitness Challenge Tuesday on its Facebook page, but within hours customers complained they could not print a coupon provided for entering the challenge.

Published reports said Friday that a Coupons.com page for Publix deals did not recognize the redirect from Facebook and so prevented shoppers from printing the coupons. After several attempts to fix the problem, Publix on Wednesday said it would send coupons to the addresses shoppers provided when they signed up.
