Roche Co-Owner Leaves Company

WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. — Roche Bros. here said yesterday that Jay Roche, vice chairman and co-owner of the 18-store chain, has decided to leave the company to pursue other interests. Jay owns the chain with other members of the second generation of the company’s owners, Ed and Rick Roche. In a letter to Roche Bros. employees, Jay said his decision to leave was driven by a “desire to try something new. Knowing first hand the quality of the management team and the strength of our plan for the future, I know that Roche Bros. will continue to be a driving force in the industry.”
