Rosauers Selects Price Optimization System

SPOKANE, Wash. — Rosauers Supermarkets here has selected the Revionics Advanced Pricing Systems, from Revionics, Sacramento, Calif., to optimize pricing in its 21 stores. The system, offered through a software-as-a-service deployment model, analyzes consumer demand data and competitor pricing to set optimized and customer-responsive pricing, Revionics said. Users will access the pricing software via the Internet. “We believe that the system is going to help us do a much better job anticipating the everyday and promotional pricing needs and expectations of our customers,” said Jeff Philipps, Rosauers’ chief executive officer, in a statement.
