The photovoltaic solar power generating systems were developed by Alteris Renewables. The locations of the eight stores that are powered with solar energy are Somerville, Dedham and Dorchester, Mass.; Fairfield, Conn.; and Franklin Park, Aberdeen, Somerset and Whiting, N.J.
