Target Matches Wal-Mart’s 90-Day Generic Drugs Offer

MINNEAPOLIS — Target reported this week that it will reduce prices on its prescription and over-the-counter drugs to remain competitively priced with Wal-Mart. The program includes an expanded assortment of $4 prescription drugs, 90-day supplies of these medications for $10, and over-the-counter medications for $4 or less. “We understand the economic challenges our guests are facing and remain committed, as always, to meeting their health and wellness needs at a great value,” said Kathee Tesija, executive vice president, merchandising.
