Village Pantry Acquires Nine C-Stores

INDIANAPOLIS — Village Pantry here, formerly owned by Marsh Supermarkets, said yesterday that it has acquired nine convenience stores in central Ohio from Petro Acquisitions, West Chester, Ohio. The stores, formerly company-owned and -operated stores of AmeriStop Market, will be re-branded under the Village Pantry banner, Village said. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Village Pantry, which operates 179 c-stores in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio, is an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, which also owns Marsh.
