ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Wegmans Food Markets is celebrating its first-ever American Classics issue of Wegmans Menu Magazine by allowing customers to taste foods featured in the publication at its stores Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"Sample our new yogurt based dressings and organic greens, our easy pasta meals and our blueberry pies," says Wegmans on its website. "Be sure to try our Premium Vanilla Ice Cream or a spoonful of fruity Sorbet. Before you enjoy them at home, get your first taste at this exciting store event."

Customers can also sample American classics such as Rosemary Chicken Kebobs with Zesty Baby Greens, Sliced Tomatoes and Avocado Salad, and Rochester-based Hartmann's Liverwurst sausage. Customers will have the chance to win a gift basket at the event.
