Welcome Named President of Reusable Packaging Association

WASHINGTON — The Reusable Packaging Association yesterday announced the appointment of Jerry Welcome as president. Welcome comes to the RPA (formerly the Reusable Pallet and Container Coalition) with more than 16 years of senior-level association management experience, including president and chief operating officer of the International Fresh-Cut Produce Industry, executive vice president for the United Fresh Produce Association and vice president of the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute. Formed in 1999, RPA is dedicated to advancing the adoption of reusable packaging systems for greater supply chain efficiencies, increased environmental benefits and reduced costs.
