JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Winn-Dixie Stores here is now offering the nFinanSe Discover Network Reloadable Prepaid Card in all of its 521 stores. Customers can purchase the card for $5.95 and then put money on it at their discretion. People who have nFinanSe cards can receive emails or text messages with purchase and balance information after each purchase.

“The nFinanSe Discover Network program provides shoppers with value and convenience by allowing them to reload their cards every time they visit their neighborhood Winn-Dixie, and to use them wherever Discover Network is accepted,” said Winn-Dixie spokeswoman Robin Lake Miller. “Given the tough economic environment for consumers, we believe it’s a great time for retailers to be expanding their prepaid offering for value-conscious consumers,” said Jerry Welch, chairman and chief executive officer of nFinanSe, Tampa, Fla.
