LEEDS, England -- Wal-Mart-owned supermarket chain Asda is selling "Britain's lowest priced suit" this week to celebrate the inclusion of the George line of clothing into Asda‘s Smartprice value offerings, the company reported Monday. Asda also promotes food, health and beauty, and housewares items through Smartprice discounts. The two-piece suit normally sells for about $37 (U.S.) for the jacket and about $12 for the pants. But the pants come free this week. "It's not a stitch-up, I assure you," said George Global's managing director, Angela Spindler. The suit‘s design was overseen by a master tailor, the company said. Products from the George line are also available in Wal-Mart Stores in the United States.
