Safeway Grows DVD Kiosk Partnership

PLEASANTON, Calif. — Over 960 Safeway stores now have DVD rental kiosks from DVDPlay, San Jose, Calif. "We are pleased to offer this service to our customers across a growing number of our stores and believe that the DVDPlay kiosk appeals to our customers by providing a high-quality, low-cost entertainment rental destination inside our stores," said Mike Minasi, president of marketing, Safeway, here. DVDPlay kiosks were located in 11 stores in 2002.
