FORT WORTH, Texas — A Carnival Super Market here, owned by Minyard Food Stores, Coppell, Texas, has added a MedBasics family Health Care Center, the first supermarket-based health clinic in the store’s county, the companies said yesterday. Another 21 centers are expected to open in other supermarkets owned by Minyard during the next two years, according to MedBasics, Irving, Texas. “We are extremely excited with the addition of the new MedBasics clinic next to the pharmacy in our Carnival store,” said Ron Peters, vice president of pharmacy for Minyard. “Our partnership with MedBasics is part of our continued focus on the health and wellness of our customers in the neighborhoods we serve.”
