CVS to Spend $6 Million on MinuteClinics in North Texas: Report

WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark Corp. here last week said it would invest heavily in MinuteClinic convenient care clinics in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, according to a report in the Dallas Morning News. The drug chain said it has opened nine clinics so far in the area, and will open 11 more by the end of the year. The newspaper said CVS will dedicate $6 million to open between 30 and 50 clinics in North Texas. Each clinic costs about $125,000 to set up, the newspaper said.
