EMA's Revamped Expo Debuts in July
ENCINO, Calif. - Home Media Expo, sponsored by the Entertainment Merchants Association, formerly the Video Software Dealer's Association, will be held July 17-19, 2007, at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. In keeping with the changing focus and expanded membership of the new organization, the convention is being revamped to encompass the full range of channels that deliver video, video games, music and user-generated content from the producer to the consumer and into the home and elsewhere, the association said. "Packaged entertainment media has historically been our focus, and will continue to be an integral component of home entertainment for the foreseeable future, but we also need to focus on the alternative delivery systems that are becoming increasingly important," said Bo Andersen, president of the EMA. "It's vital for the convention to be relevant not only to the industry as it is today, but also to the industry as it will be tomorrow."Subscribe / Renew to Supermarket News
