Giant Eagle Adds Gift Cards From Max & Erma's Restaurants
PITTSBURGH - Giant Eagle here is now selling gift cards from Columbus, Ohio-based Max & Erma‘s in 216 stores, the restaurant chain reported yesterday. "Giant Eagle has an established business of selling gift cards for other companies," said Becky D'Aiuto, advertising manager for Max & Erma's. "Since there is overlap in our respective footprints -- we both have a very strong presence in Columbus and Pittsburgh -- it was a natural fit." The gift cards will be sold in denominations of $25 and $50 and will be activated by the cashier. Purchases of Max & Erma's gift cards at Giant Eagle will be applied to the retailer‘s customer loyalty program, which counts toward discounts of gasoline.Subscribe / Renew to Supermarket News
