Giant Eagle C-Stores Test DVD Kiosks
PITTSBURGH - Giant Eagle will test DVD rental kiosks from Redbox Automated Retail, Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., at five of its Pittsburgh-area GetGo convenience store locations starting this month. If the test is successful, Giant Eagle will expand the kiosks to GetGo stores in Pittsburgh and other markets. “We are very pleased to test redbox DVD rental kiosks and make such a convenient service available to our customers,” said Dan Pastor, Giant Eagle's vice president of fuel and convenience store operations. “The quick, self-service transactions and $1 per night price make a perfect fit for our customers‘ on-the-go lifestyles.” Giant Eagle has 115 GetGo stores as well as 146 corporate and 71 independently owned and operated supermarkets in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland.Subscribe / Renew to Supermarket News
