Four Nashville Krogers to Add Clinics

CINCINNATI — The Kroger Co. here plans to open at least four Nashville-area walk-in clinics with partner the Little Clinic, Brentwood, Tenn., by the end of this year. The Little Clinic, which recently moved its headquarters from Louisville, Ky., told Nashville newspaper the Tennessean that it will lease clinic space in Kroger stores in Bellevue, Hermitage, Murfreesboro and Spring Hill, Tenn., but wouldn’t discuss financial terms of the deal. With the partnership, Little Clinic becomes the second player to enter the convenient-care clinic market in Nashville, after MinuteClinic, Minneapolis, owned by CVS/Caremark Corp., Woonsocket, R.I.
