Pharmacies Can Send Free e-Newsletter to Consumers

RESTON, Va. — Mirixa, a developer of clinical and interactive pharmacist-based patient care services, reported this week the immediate availability of a weekly email newsletter that can be customized for participating retail pharmacies to send to customers. Called RxFYI, the e-newsletter is free to participating pharmacies and is intended to enhance patient loyalty and generate revenue. “According to a recent Jupiter Research study, 80% of consumers are interested in receiving medication information from their pharmacy,” said Donald W. Hackett, chief executive officer, Mirixa. “With RxFYI, our pharmacy members can enhance their patient education services within their store and around the clock.”
