TNR Expands DVD Rental Kiosks in Texas Supermarkets

HOUSTON -- TNR Entertainment Corp., here, reported yesterday that with the addition of 51 automated DVD rental kiosks in Texas supermarkets, it now has almost 500 of the devices in its home state. Among the chains in Texas that TNR provides its kiosks for under the brand The New Release are Kroger, headquartered in Cincinnati, and H.E. Butt Grocery Co., of San Antonio. "Building on successful partnerships TNR enjoys with grocery retailers reinforces the win-win aspect of our business -- a model that offers distinct benefits to the consumer, the retail partner and TNR as the vendor," said Jeff Karbowiak, the company's chief operating officer. The new kiosks are located in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Laredo, Waco and surrounding areas.
