Loblaw and Uber this week announced a promotion whereby Uber will provide a free ride for shoppers to and from click-and-collect shopping points operated by Loblaw.
All participants in the free ride program between April 14 and April 20 will receive a $10 gift card good toward their next Loblaw purchase and all are eligible for a drawing for a $1,000 gift card, the companies said.

Loblaw, Brampton, Ontario, offers click-and-collect Internet shopping at three locations. The deal comes as Uber, the digital ride-sharing platform, is facing local opposition to its expansion to Toronto, reports noted.
