LOS ANGELES -- Arden Group here said last week its same-store sales gains of 3.8% and 2% in the third quarter and 39 weeks ended Sept. 27, respectively, can be attributed to the positive impact of newer stores gaining acceptance, remodel activity and product pricing decisions. d 6.3% to $3 million. For the 39-week period, sales increased 2% to $303.5 million, and net income fell 12.6% to $9 million.
