BURBANK, Calif. -- Beginning in January, Buena Vista Home Video will release all its rental titles on Tuesdays to conform with a common street date, recommended by the Video Software Dealers Association, Los Angeles, and the National Association of Video Distributors, Washington. "We agree with the conclusions drawn by the VSDA's and NAVD's proposal," said Dennis Maguire, vice president of domestic sales. "The new dates will allow for cost savings and greater operating efficiencies that will benefit the entire industry." Buena Vista will move to a Thursday prebook date for its February releases.
